Hazel studied at the Royal Northern College of Music. She went on to achieve a Distinction in performance and has since built a varied and diverse freelance career which takes her all over the world. Her professional career started with the Halle Orchestra, and she now plays with many of the UK’s professional orchestras, the Royal Shakespeare Company and as a session musician. Hazel particularly enjoys collaborating with other musicians and creating independent projects. She has written, and is now touring internationally with her own show ‘Tango Tzigane’ and her violin duo ‘Elektra’ which she founded 12 years ago.
